Leviticus 7:23-25

²³ “Speak to the children of Israel and tell them: do not eat the fat of an ox or a sheep or a goat. ²⁴ The fat of an animal that dies a natural death or an animal that has been torn apart by a wild animal can be used for any function, only it is not to be eaten. ²⁵ Whoever eats the fat of an animal that has been offered to the Lord in fire will be cut off from his people.
